Troubleshooting AVR resolution problem

I recently started setting up my home theater area which I've consolidated with my workspace. I have an ASUS Proart display that is 1920x1200 that I've connected to a Sony STR-DN1080.  I'm able to get a picture fine but it's saying the resolution is 1280x720 across all devices.

I've made sure its the most recent firmware, checked cables. I assume it’s an edid issue? What might be a solution to resolve this?

i can only think of 2 things
avr isnt set as passthough for video
the avr doesnt support that resolution

No AVR is going to support 1920x1200. They aren't designed to be used with computer monitors.
