Take a look at your thermals!

I would suggest you take a look at your temperatures while starting a full load, shortly before it crashes. I also had this problem once and my problem was a defect GPU cooler.

But now, fellow gamers, that was it for me. Please keep in mind, that this is just my personal opionion and I am no expert. Your system shall be cooled forever, see you next time.

Which of these drives you use for system boot?

Before we suspect any hardware issue here I would first do a fresh install of windows

Athlon x4 840 @3.7Ghz MSI A68HM-E33 V2 8GB DDR3 1600MHZ SC GTX 750TI A400 120GB TOSHIBA 1TB MSI 200W

That Kingston drive is quite bad. Does freezing happens in games/programs installed on that drive.

When it gets full a400 can act slower than basic HDD

Yes, im aware that the kingston isnt great.  Games and programs that are installed on any drive will sometimes crash.

Okay then. This still sounds like a bad drive especially the fact that boot times are bad.
You should download HDD Sentinel and check drives' heaths. I would suggest running CrystalMark also and posting results here.

Both could cause freezing and stuttering but that can't explain slow boot times. Try stressing CPU with CPU-Z stress test and see if that happens. Also I haven't seen CPU dying yet so even if it happens it's more likely that the MOBO's VRM / PSU is the problem!

Ok, just as a note, max cpu temp is actually 74C.  Might be part of the issue.  i read the wrong number earlier

Not quite, that CPU should be fine at that temp (not preferable but surely not high enough to make system unusable)
