Upgrade for next year

I'm gonna upgrade my pc next year, around april most likely, as my current build is getting a little bit long in the tooth now that I'm gaming at 1440p 144hz. I'm currently rocking an i5-9600k, 1060 6gb, 16gb of ram OCd to 3000mhz, a 550 watt PSU and what I believe is a Z390 motherboard. 

 

The PSU upgrade will definitely happen, since I'm set on a 3080. But other than that I'm not quite sure as to what I'll be getting and was looking for some recomendations. Budget isn't all that big of an issue since I've saved up for it. And will be getting my tax refund around that time. But I also don't want it to be TOO expensive. Not a very concrete price range, I know, but I think you get the idea. Any tips would be appreciated!

The new system cpu are very attractive, but by the time you are ready for a new system Intel should have release new, more competitive cpu. So wait.
