Hello, im having problems with windows 10 home update, Its been like it past 2 weeks, i have tried different options to solve it trough internet, but none of them have helped. When I press Update and shut down/restart it will just shut down/restart without doing any update or giving any error.

that looks to be very broken. is reinstalling Windows an option for you? that seems like the easiest fix here.

If reinstall is not an option you could use this get help button you can see on the right of your screenshot to get help form Microsoft support which I must say its very hit and miss from my experience (once they solved my issue and once they completely bricked my windows install 🤪 )  anyway backup all your data asap

Seems like a blessing to me. LOL.

Your Windows install is probably borked. Reinstalling is the best way to fix it. You could try using the built in recovery options and doing a reset, it will keep your files but all your software will need to be reinstalled.

I just want to sit back and watch the world burn.

Agree to the back up your data sentiment if you haven't already. Reinstalling would probably be the quickest solution, but depending on how you use your computer that's pretty intrusive. What sort of things have you tried specifically? Do other parts of settings work okay aside from Windows Update?

Honestly operating system repair can be tricky and it depends on how much time you want to sink into it. Probably the first thing I would do is try to run as SFC (run cmd or Powershell as an admin) and type sfc /scannow. This might not fix anything, or even run depending on exactly what the underlying issues is. But it's a start. Normally I would recommend running DISM too, but since the issue seems to be with update this gets more complicated.
