I have been looking for a cheap (no more than $40) headphone dac/amp to use with my sennheiser hd 518 headphones. I am new to audio (first headphones) and I want a dac/amp that has a 1/4" headphone jack for my headphones and it doesn't have to be portable. Sorry if my wording is a little confusing. Thanks in advance for all the comments :D

AMD FX-6300 @ Stock, MSI 970a-G46 Motherboard, Crucial Ballistix Sport 8GB 1600Mhz, HIS Radeon Hd 7870 Ghz Edition @ 1100/1350, WD Caviar Blue 1tb, Corsair CX600, NZXT Source 220, and a Benq 21.5 Inch Monitor.

To be honest, I wanted to get a dac for better sound quality, but I also hate the reducer adapter that I have to plug on it for it to plug into my 3.5mm jack. I'm afraid it is going to break from the weight, because it extends several inches from the case. Also I will most likely hit it before too long.

I know the feel, though you would be better off getting that different cable I mentioned in the other thread, but! and E6 will be probably your best options.
