so, I only recently have gotten into the pc community, and know a bit about computers. However I am looking to build a $700 USD gaming pc. I live in California, I have a monitor, mouse and keyboard (as well as a headset and mic). I will be mostly playing Minecraft, Overwatch, Valorant and some other "not very demanding games". This will be my first build so i am not look to make some crazy water-cooled monstrosity with 2 3090s in SLI. I am only making this post because my pc knowlege is a bit out of date and i still favor intel and nvidia over AMD, and it does tend to mess up the builds that I try to build. If you could simply send me a pc-partpicker list with everything (even an ssd, hdds suck) that would be amazing!

This is what you can get at the moment for your budget. If you stretch your budget you could go for a ryzen 5 3600 instead of the 3100, or get a better motherboard, or more storage.

well the CPU installation process is remarkably similar so I wouldn't worry about that if I were you

I would suggest, though, that now is not the time to buy. low end and midrange AMD cards and Nvidia cards are due to come out somewhat soon, and patience is rewardign when dealing with a new hardware release.

I WILL find your ITX build thread, and I WILL recommend the SIlverstone Sugo SG13B

Primary PC:

i7 8086k - EVGA Z370 Classified K - G.Skill Trident Z RGB - WD SN750 - Jedi Order Titan Xp - Hyper 212 Black (with RGB Riing flair) - EVGA G3 650W - dual booting Windows 11 and Fedora Linux - Black and green theme, Razer brainwashed me.

Draws 400 watts under max load, for reference.

PSU tier list

How many watts do I need?

PSU misconceptions, protections explainedgroup reg is bad

slightly over budget but you can cut down a bit by using a plain 2600

Just get a 3100. Same performance for 50 dollars less. With the money you save you can get a 5600xt
