Fixed or Dynamic OC?

I’ve heard dynamic is better for lifespan but fixed is faster. What do you guys think, I currently have an i5-9600k @5ghz on fixed. I was going to try to get it to 5.2ghz later though.

I have a 4790K that lasted 5 years on a mild fixed OC, and is now dead.

My 3770K that was dynamically OC'd is still alive.

Sample size of 1. YMMV.
