Hi, 1st time pc build so go gentle on me lol

1. Budget & Location
United Kingdom, around £400 

2. Aim

Looking to have a pc that will stream live TV & record it via my digital aerial, play music & films via disc or stored on a hard drive. 

Browse the Internet, no gaming though as I have several consoles I use for that 

 

3. Monitors
don't need monitor as will have it connected to my TV via hdmi

4. Peripherals
Will need a wireless keyboard & mouse 

5. Why are you upgrading?
As I want to get rid of my Dvd player, mini hifi and TV recorder due to space constraints

You can change which keyboard and mouse you get, this one seems to get the job done for cheap though.

 

If you want to save some money you can get a cheaper powersupply.

 

You might want to go up to 16GB of ram, but it should be fine.

 

And you can change the case if you don't like how it looks.

Thanks for that, I would need a case that's got a optical drive as need to it to play dvds n music CD's., any ideas on a good case that can replace the one suggested

You can get an external DVD player and just plug it into the back.
