So I'm just doing 1080p gaming at 144hz highest and I'm wondering should I get a new 2060 or a used 2070?

Reminder⚠️

I'm just speaking from experience so what I say may not work 100%

Please try searching up the answer before you post here but I am always glad to help

If they are the same price, and you can be certain the 2070 is in solid working order, then that's the way to go.

If money is an issue, or you want the warranty, then a new 2060 would be the logical choice.

Do you already have a line on a 2070?

Well a 2060 new is about $300 and used 2070 goes for $500 (used is crap here it seems) also I would have to drive to pick the 2070 up since there really is no local ones, but my most heavy game is BOCW so I don't think a 2060 would hurt since I'm always wanting to save money

If money, and distance is an issue, then yeah, I'd go new, seems to be a safe option.

Yeah also is the ASUS GeForce RTX 2060 6GB DUAL OC EVO any good?

I have no experience with said card, but I am a fan of Asus products, having used them professionally when I was working in ITf or many many years, and never had issues. So take that for what it's worth (about 0.03$, adjusted for inflation)
