Internet Problems-
Hi I need help fixing my wifi adapter which is a WAVLINK product and for at least 9 months now I have been dealing with this product disconecting from the wifi randomly and spiking ever 7 to 10 seconds the spiking lasting 30 seconds. I have tried many solutions like switching to 2.4ghz and 5ghz and the same problems have been happening. How it started was I disconected the wifi adapter out of the usb port and plugged it back in and have had problems with internet that day. Before this my internet was acting very fine, good connection good reponses, I've run out of options and have been restrained to not play with my friends because I keep disconecting and spiking. Please help.

usb port

You are using a USB wifi unit? There's your problem right there. Dump it and replace with an internal one on a PCIe slot.

Replace it with a PCIe based WiFi card, or at the very least, a USB one of better quality.

USB wifi, especially the cheap ones, which are legion, have a nasty tendency to overheat and fail.

Either buy the one @kirashi mentioned, or solve the issue once and for all with a PCIe wifi card.
