Nvidia GPU upgrade/DDU questions

I am about to upgrade from a GTX 1660S to a RTX 3080, and wondering if I need to DDU my drivers, and if there's anything else I need to do? I had an issue a while back with my 1660S not posting after switching out my boot drive, not sure if it was driver related. Thanks in Advance!
