Beeping while gaming

Go to solution Solved by Aush85,

So.... I was stumped and tried everything. Finally I realized the beeping was from my apc. Adding the reciever was to much for it. Figured you all tried to help and deserve a good laugh!

I recently started getting random beeping during Warzone and Doom Eternal. It only does this out of my auxiliary connection which is listed below but not my my USB headset.

My system

Asus prime b-450m-a mobo

Ryzen 5 2600x

MSI Gaming trio z 2060

2x 16gb corsair vengeance 3200 rgb pro

WD black 1tb nvme m2 ssd

750w rosewill psu

OS windows 10

Recently I hooked my pc sound too a denon s650h reciever with a limited mobo I went aux -> rca. This powers 2 Klipsch speakers. I also installed doom eternal recently. There has been a recent nvidia update and a windows update.

In demanding game play my cpu is never going above 60-65c and gpu hits 70-75c at highest.

I do notice the beeping never occurs if the gpu is under 72c.

Any suggestions or help would be greatly appreciated.

This was my first pc build and is only 6 months or so old.

Look around in your BIOS if there is any temperature alarm set for your GPU. However, i doubt it.

Do you have any OC software installed like MSI afterburner? Check if you accidentally set a temp alarm there.

If someone did not use reason to reach their conclusion in the first place, you cannot use reason to convince them otherwise.

I looked in bios but did not see anything. I do have afterburner but I don't run it. Warzone COD especially hates afterburner and several other games become unstable even with mild soft oc.

I recently just got a new CPU and was playing with my BIOS and was getting the same issue, for me, its was a faulty sensor in my CPU fan. Would only happen when the CPU was under load and happened even though i replaced it with 3 different fans!

You could try disabling the option for "Warn on fan failure" and see if it stops. If it does, consider getting taking a good luck and seeing if you need to replace any fans

Thank you. I will look into it. I did actually replace the cpu cooler a few months back. I ended up with a overkill case during to covid/protest. I upgraded from the wraith spire to prism since the case was so rgb. So the fan should be slight overkill.
