Upgrading my gpu

Go to solution Solved by Paige8179,

Hi,

As christmas is coming up i thought it would be a good idea to upgrade my GPU. Ive had my current PC for 2 years and it has -

Ryzen 5 2600

16gb 3000mhz

Rx 570 4gb

550w corsair PSU

And i have a 60hz 1080p acer monitor

My problem has come when trying to pick a New graphics card as im quite restricted with budget which is around £200 with £250 being the near max i could go to. Ive looked at the 1660super which seems like a good option however i have seen a few people say its not worth it when your upgrading from a rx 570.

Furthermore, if i did get a new graphics card i would most likely try and save up and get a monitor. I donr know whether i would be better with a 60/75hz or 144hz. (My budget for this is about £200)

Would the 1660super be suitbale for 144hz or 75hz? Or would i be better with a diffrent option? Also if anyone has any good suggestions for monitors id appreciate that.

Thank you!

Also i know a suggestion may be to not get a monitor and put the money for that towards a GPU but i cant do that as id be asking for the GPU from family members whereas id be saving up myself for the Monitor.
