Computer won't turn on

Go to solution Solved by KingLegend,

I got it to work, the issue was that the socket on the power strip stopped working and is not turning on fine.

I was playing Minecraft RLcraft mod pack while watching Netflix on my second monitor. My monitors lost signal to the computer and said no signal, so I tried to restart the computer but it wouldn’t turn off even after holding down the power button. Since The computer was still running I turned off the psu and now the computer won’t turn back
Note : This is the first time this has happened and I have run ark whiling yet and Netflix before with it being fine

Hmm.

Is the power button on the front plugged into the motherboard?
It may have come loose - my front audio stopped working because it wasn't plugged in :/

Just checked it wasn't loose, I pushed it in more and it still wont turn on.

I have no idea without coming and looking.

So unless we live within 5 miles of each other and you know of a park with electricity, I can't help, sorry.

I think I need to buy a better power supply, Im looking at gold ones so it is more reliable.

Level of efficiency doesn't equate to level of quality.

"Gold" just means it's more efficient than "Bronze" in "80 PLUS speak".

How about you actually narrow down the issue first before jumping straight to conclusions?

Its either the power supply or the motherboard or cpu and I dont know how to check which is the problem. I dont think its anything else because because the gpu is new.

Do the fans spin? does it make any noises, are there any LEDs that turn on?
