Hi,
So my problem is that my PC runs fine until it randomly starts to stutter extremly and it feels like 2 FPS. This mostly happens when i'm gaming (Overwatch) but it can also happen outside of the game (the game is unplayable and youtube is not enjoyable). I also noticed that besides the stutters the framerate also drops down to about 100 FPS (normally I reach the cap of 160). Also the audio (in game, spotify and even when i'm watching youtube) has those really weird and annoying stutters. After a while it'll just go away but most of the time i just restart my pc and its fine.
Now what have i done for troubleshooting? Every possible thing i could. I even did a clean fresh windows install. I updated every possible driver I could. I checked if the CPU clock speed is normal (my ryzen 5 2600 runs at 3.4Ghz) and it was. I reset my BIOS settings. My windows is up to date. I also ran CCleaner multiple times.
Nothing helped and now I'm stuck. And also I don't have much experience since this is my first PC build (from 2018).
The specs: AMD Ryzen 5 2600, Nvidia GTX 1070Ti, 16 GB RAM @2666MHz, 1TB Kingston Nvme SSD, Aorus B450 M

Honestly I think (since I even did a clean new Windows install) that it's a hardware problem. Maybe the CPU is damaged or something like that. Or maybe the Stutters appear when the cpu reaches a certain temperatur (I'm using boxed cooler from amd).

I attached a video of some gameplay with the stutters and I know that it doesn't look that bad but it really is. And the audio makes ut way worse.
If you have any questions please ask them.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thx

First, check the temps of your cpu/gpu, if any of them are running very hot when playing ow, that may be your problem.

Check if your ram is in dual channel. Pretty stupid, but single channel can make games play horribly.

If it is correctly in dual channel, then it is most likely a hardware problem.

Do you have any spare components you could test? (For ex, if you like an old cpu hook it up and see if the stutters are gone.)

thx for your quick reply

So I checked if dual channel is active and it is. I also checked cpu temperatur and it didn't go over 60°C. Next i measured the gpu temperatur and i dont know if thats a coincidence but at the peak of my gpu's temperatur the stutters appeared. But it wasn't even hot at all, only 58°C. (I have lowest graphics settings)

Unfortunately i dont have any spare components.

So i think the problem is the hardware but we'll see... (the new ryzen 5 5600 might be an upgrade)

attached pic shows peak of temperatur

*edit: i tried again to play ow and after a while the stutters began and i couldn't recognize any relation between the stutterd and the gpu/cpu temperatur.

thx
