Upgrade time!

My PC's won't stop freezing today after booting into windows, still functions on safe mode but otherwise dead :/ Seeing as it's 7 years old it's due for an upgrade.

I'm looking to replace the:

  • GPU
  • Motherboard
  • CPU: I'd be keen to go for a ryzen 5600 after the reviews but I need help on choosing a Mobo with it!
  • Ram (still rocking DDR3)
  • CPU cooler: Whatever noctua black edition works with me
  • Storage?

 

Budget (including currency): £1000-1500

Country: UK

Games Games, from Civ and X-com2 to Witcher 3

Other details : Currently using an old 1080p Asus PA monitor but will be looking to upgrade to 1440P as 4k 60fps seems to expensive.

Still got a:

  • Phantek primo case
  • Corsair RM850 PSU
  • Bunch of Noctua NFa14 fans
  • 1 TB hardrive 500gb Samsung SSD
