Strange graphical issue.

This is a really strange visual anomaly and the only way I can describe it is if you remember the old cathode ray televisions from decades ago, when there was interference and the signal wasn't very strong, you would get this sort of snowy effect made up of pixels which had a kind of fuzziness to it.

It isn't that bad, but it has that same kind of sparkly pixely quality.

Your monitor had a CRT boyfriend/girlfriend that died and is doing that to remember him/her.

So, in some of my games, not all mind, but some, I get this strange film grain type fuzziness in very specific places.

It is always when I use the camera such that there is one uniform colour on the screen - like the blue sky in Fortnite, or the white snow in Gears 5, or the sand in AC : Origins.

I hope I'm making sense?

As I said, it seems to only show up when there is one particular colour dominanting my game screen, like the sand I mentioned or the blue sky.

I went into my Nvidia control panel to have a look, but I don't really know what it would even be referenced under.

Sorry, I know this might all sound a bit weird, but, I'm hoping someone has had or heard of a similar situation and knows instinctively what I'm driving at.

I tried Google, but it wasn't a great help.

I'm on using a 2060, i5 10400f, 16 gb RAM, on a 1440p monitor @ 144hz, all my drivers are up to date, same for Windows, I don't have anything running in the background when I play, my temperatures are all very reasonable...I'm at a bit of a loss.

I should also note, it wasn't something I saw at first, and it isn't always there.

Not sure I have any images that I could post, though i know that would obviously be ideal when discussing a visual problem.

While I try to look, is there a chance it could be something related to bloatware running in the background, which is causing my system to lack the required processing power?

Could it be my monitor is having issues?

Is it more likely a GPU related issue?

What could cause it?

Sorry, for the scattergun approach, guys.

Hope someone can offer some advice.

Cheers, in advance.
