Graphics Card?

Hello people 

I want to ask something

I want to buy a new graphics card and i have a $220 budget

I wanted to buy the Sapphire hd 7870 2 GB XT with boost (http://www.sapphiretech.com/presentation/product/?cid=1&gid=3&sgid=1160&pid=1790&lid=1

)

I saw a page with benchmarks of this card

and the card performed as good as a $300 more expensive card 

Should i buy this one or should a buy a $300 more expensive one?

How is the sound like

Is it silent normal or is it loud

yeah the tahiti xt card has the same gpu as the 79xx series, just a little more cut down, it is more like a 7930 or 7890 than a 7870

 

and with the dual fan design that should be quiet, unless you are at full load or live in a hot climate, but then almost any graphics card is loud.

for all intents and purposes its more quiet than say, a 480, and even most blower designs. if you use msi afterburner and set a fan profile, it will stay pretty quiet throughout general computing and gaming.

The 7870 is a good card on a budget, it is a quite card with a pretty decent cooler on it so it is possible to overclock it.
