Best CFW for PSP 1001 running 6.61

I have a PSP 1001 running offical software version 6.61, and want to run cfw. I have a 1gb memory stick, if that would influence your solution. 

So, what is the best CFW for me, and what is the best install method?

Also, would the CFW be transferable between memory sticks, if I were to get a adaptor for a micro sd, so I could have more storage?

I could use some help with this!
