I was wondering if anyone wanted to group for a Ranked round of classic competition?

I am kinda new to CSGO, I think in casual there are no ranks? how do you play Ranked round?

I think there is a play match option, and then it shows a list of ranked game modes.

I played many times and never saw that or knew my rank, I will check today, thank you!

 

 

You have to win at least 20 competitive matches to see your rank. Casual, Arms Race, Demolition and Deathmatch do not count towards your rank.

 

I would join you guys in competitive but I'm still a little rusty at the game, I can't get enough of 1.3.

Just got CS:GO the other day, after I play another few hours and get the feel of how to play I'll start playing ranked :P Steam: samotage

Oh thanks! I've never played competitive before, I can barely manage in causal, I blame the mouse lol

actually you only need 10 wins for a rank. but yea, once youbare decent in casual go for competitive which should be a bit easier because the players are similarly ranked as you.

That's how they rank people?  :blink:  I have played many games where I killed nobody or very few yet I was part of a winning team that does not lose, they should rank based on kills (my kills) per game & shooting accuracy ... thanks for the info.

well no, you need to get 10 wins to even get a rank (until then you are unranked). Once you have 10 wins your actual ranking will be based on how well you play such as kills, deaths, plants, defuses, etc.

Actually your kdr and your accuracy make no difference whatsoever I've been told, I guess it does make some difference though, but it mostly depends on win % obviously if you suck but you team wins a lot they are not going to rank you higher for being carried on a match, but yeah that's that
