GPU Drivers

Carsoncity123

So Hello guys, I once posted here back on October 7 for some hardware concerns and I am overwhelmed about the responses that I received and they saved my ass a lot.

But now I came up with some challenges again and I'm going stonks. As you can see on the title I got problems with GPU drivers

So here's what happened...

I just purchased my monitor and tried to build everything now (OS installed, got some BIOS update) but when I tried to use the GPU tweak CD I ran with some errors primarily this one:

"Load vender.dll Fail. Please install VGA driver"

So I went to the Nvidia's website to look for the driver update and tried to install it and for some reason I receive another error message again after the checking of compatibility and the error is

"This DCH driver package is not compatible with the current installed version of Windows. This system is configured to require a Standard driver package. The correct driver can be downloaded from NVIDIA.com/drivers by selecting the "standard" option under the "Windows Driver type" menu."

So I followed it go to the same website and selected the standard option, downloaded and tried to install again but the same error appears. The Win10 is already updated and seems no problem with it. I checked some Youtube tutorials and just found more problems again. Phew

The Display adapter in my Device management is off

Instead of a GTX Geforce 1650 it shows as Microsoft Basic Display Adaptor also when I check the NVIDIA folder in the storage most of the files are empty

Local Disk C > NVIDEA > Display driver > 457.09 > **Blank**

Most of the tutorials that I watched has a lot of files on version number of the Driver.

This is my first PC and I want this to work so I apologized for these question but I badly need help.

that's what it should say before you install video drivers

so it refuses both DCH and standard drivers. This is a laptop right? Then maybe you should go to the laptop vendor's site, look for your model of laptop and download video drivers from there.

1650Ti was never released for people to buy individually, so still possible that drivers directly from Nvidia doesnt work.
