Render PC & SLI

I currently have 1 EVGA 1080 TI with a  ryzen 7 3700x I wanted to know if it would be worth it to get a second 1080 TI (cheap from a friend) to add to this render PC. This PC is for using adobe media encoder to transcode 4k footage to cineform.

well considering rendering is the only thing sli is good for anymore.. i dont see why not?
