Howdy!

Got a fresh new build with what's hopefully an easily resolveable problem: I can't connect to the internet via LAN.

BIOS is fully updated, at all default settings, and all drivers are installed (from ASUS website), except for the LAN driver.  When installing the LAN driver, I receive the error "Realtek Network Controller not found. If deep sleep mode Plug in the cable."  Researching this error, the solutions involve defaulting the BIOS (done) and messing with the network adapter in Device Managers.  When I check the Device Manager, there is no trace of a network adapter. Nada, zip, and I've checked all the sub-categories (I've also seen them hiding in Other, there isn't an other here).

The RJ45 port does not light up when an ethernet is plugged in.

Spec below (all new except where noted):

MOBO: ASUS AM4 TUF GAMING X570-Plus ATX

CPU: AMD Ryzen 9 3900X

RAM: Corsair Vengeance LPX 32GB (2X16GB) DDR4 3200 (PC4-25600) C16 1.35V

SSD: addlink S70 512GB SSD NVMe PCIe 3x4 M.2 2280 (OS here)

GPU: Radeon R9 290X (Reused)

PSU: Seasonic 850w (Reused)

Monitor: Monoprice Zero-G Gaming Monitor - 27 Inch, WQHD With AMD FreeSync, 2560x1440p@144Hz, 1ms, HDR, 400nits, TN

OS: Windows 10 Home 64-bit

Any help would be much appreciated!
