I wouldn't make dc fan control a selling point. And everything works fine at defaults with a 4 pin fan.

I get what you mean, but I live in a country where technology is highly restricted, and therefore most products aren't available here. If they are, they are very expensive. I also want to upgrade my CPU to an AMD (I currently have Intel) But my fan doesn't support AM4 socket, so I will need to replace mobo, CPU and fan. I will keep this fan until I upgrade my CPU. Is something wrong with that? Can I keep a DC controlled fan on a PWM only mobo?
