Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: Rocket League, Streaming, School Work, Light Video Editing, Destiny 2, COD.

Other details: The parts marked as purchased in the ca.pcpartpicker.com parts list (CPU, MOBO, 1tb HDD) need to stay the same but everything else can change.

 

I have been gaming on a 1050 2gb and noticeably old i5. Really looking for an upgrade and I think this is it. Any help is greatly appreciated even if its just saying that these parts work together! Another question I have is since I have windows already on the hdd how do I transfer it to the ssd safely? Thanks.

Sorry. Better? Also will I need thermal paste or does the cooler baster come with thermal paste applied?

It comes with a a little tube of thermal paste and you apply that.
