i find the 1000w very funny

PC specs:

Ryzen 9 3900X overclocked to 4.3-4.4 GHz

Corsair H100i platinum

32 GB Trident Z RGB 3200 MHz 14-14-14-34

RTX 2060

MSI MPG X570 Gaming Edge wifi

NZXT H510

Samsung 860 EVO 500GB

2 TB WD hard drive

Corsair RM 750 Watt

ASUS ROG PG248Q 

Razer Ornata Chroma

750W will be plenty as the required for 5700xt is 550W. Corsair RMX is good though.

I'm pretty sure Asus recommends at least a 650W PSU for their 5700XT

An 850W power supply will suffice with your system, unless you plan on doing custom watercooling or having multiple RGB strips/fans/HDDs all in at once.

So 750 will be plenty. Remember when AMD, Nvidia or Asus says we recommend that you use 500 watt for this or that they take into consideration that you may have 10 hard drives, RGB down the street and whatnot. Some people buy ThreadRippers and overclock the living jesus out of their systems so they have to exaggerate even if it is unlikely that a particular product will be paired with a Xeon or a TR.

 

EDIT: Dont misunderstand. Im not saying you should get the RMX 750, by all means get the 850 and you will have a nice PC. Just saying it will be plenty as I'm assuming you don't have 64 cores and something crazy right?

You will be fine. I'm still using the same 850W since 2017 or so (EVGA P2 850W) and used it again after using it for two years in my previous rig.
