Threadripper DOCP issues

Been building a friend of mine a threadripper workstation. But the memory which is Corsair Dominator Platinum 8x8 sticks. It's rated for 3466Mhz but it's barely stable at below 3200mhz. Voltage change helps some but barely.

Specs are:

AMD Threadripper 3970x

Asus ROG Strix TRX40-E Gaming

Corsair Dominator Platinum 8x8GB memory

EVGA RTX 2080ti

 

Any other specs needed please tell me.

well threadripper is rated to work with upto 3200mhz it can do 3466 but not when all memory channels are full

if it was useful give it a like :) btw if your into linux pay a visit here

Hmm, will try again at 3200Mhz, but oddly enough I have to up the voltage from 1.35 to 1.4
