Is it maybe looking for a special driver?  Some mice won’t use the generic driver.

Not a pro, not even very good.  I’m just old and have time currently.  Assuming I know a lot about computers can be a mistake.

Ah so stopped working.  Ok.

when you say “not functioning”, how do you mean exactly? Like a button doesn’t work or the whole thing doesn’t work?  
Have you tried a different mouse?
Have you tried that mouse in a different computer?

By not functioning I mean that it turns on when plugged in but doesn’t connect to the computer as well the rgb is stuck on a weird colour

 

i have not tried either of those yet

Ok so other mice do work but I’ve gone into device management and can’t fine the gaming mouse that is normally their

It does not work on a different computer
