SSD Not Working

Hello, I just got myself a SK Hynix ssd for my pc, and when I connect it, the drive simply doesn't show up.

CPU: I5 3740 @3.2GHz || GPU: GT 1030 || KEYBOARD+MOUSE: Redragon S101 combo || MONITOR: HP 22cwa || (its a potato pc)

Does your motherboard disable SATA ports when certain PCIe slots are being used? Maybe try switching ports, cables.

I'm really new to computers by the way. After installing SK Hynix drive manager, it shows that my drive is there but has 0 partitions. How do I enable my drive to store data at this point?

Sounds like you need to format the drive.

Ok, I will go find out how to do that and update when I'm done :)
