Weird artifacts?

Mark Kaine

So this just happened playing monster hunter world... For a split second, vertical red lines (almost the whole screen)

Game didn't crash or anything, not even a frame drop...

So I just want to know if this is necessarily a defect or if it could have been just a glitch, maybe it was the monitor and not the gpu even...?

Just how likely is it that the card is defective, or has a bad OC, though I tested this extensively, this isn't even the max it can do (in Firestrike for example)

Also my memory is fuzzy I could swear it did that half a year ago or so too, exact same level, same spot too (Rotten Vale, Vaal Hazak for those who played it)

I'm just a bit shocked right now (even though it may have happened before already) 🤔

Tldr: vertical red lines for a short moment, defect, glitch, bad overclock or nothing to worry about?

The direction tells you... the direction
