Microsoft Office Error

I was getting the following error code : 0xc0000142 when I was trying to open word, excel or office in general. I searched a few solutions on the internet and used the modify option under apps to repair Office. The problem is now solved but I needed some information about the error code. If this repeats again in the future, what should I do?

OS : Windows 10 Home 2004 version
