Computer for school

I'm a student studying 3D Modeling, Art and Animation and i was hoping you could help me on the type of PC/laptop ( NVidia card recommended) i should buy..
Should i get a laptop or a desktop? Which is better for 3D and animation
 

These are the System Requirements

Memory 8 GB minimum, 16 GB or higher recommended

Desktop for sure and a cheap little laptop if you need one at all. Used Thinkpad maybe.

Why 3 monitors.. i was thinking just one 32 inch 4k , is that good enough?

All I said was that you should get a desktop and, if you need a portable computer, get a cheap laptop like a used Thinkpad.

Under Specs it says

Monitor: 3x Dell P2210 on a Steelcase Eyesite triple monitor stand
