I want to add additional 8GB ram to my 8GB Corsair vengeance DDR4 2400Mhz.

I was thinking to buy Corsair vengeance 8GB DDR4 3000Mhz.

If I do so, will it run in dual channel mode? (I know both will run at 2400Mhz)

I've read on several forums that rams not bought in a dual pack can cause instability in the system.

My motherboard- Gigabyte h110

Should I go for it?

it should run fine

Ohk, just to mention one has 1.2 voltage in specs and the other has 1.35 voltage. The motherboard is currently running the 1.2voltage ram and if I add the new 1.35 voltage ram will I have to increase the voltage or the motherboard will automatically sync it with the old stick?

i guess it's 1.5 to get it at 3000. since it will run at 2400, should work with 1.2
