CPU & GPU combo

If I go with R7 3700x, should I pair it with RTX 2060 super or RTX 2070 super ?

Or should I go with R5 3600 instead and update to R7 5800x when its available?

& If I go with R5 3600, should I pair it with GTX 1660 super RTX 2060 super?  and update to RTX 3060 when its available?

Sorry, I am really confused.

Budget is around 1Lac -1.2Lac Indian Rupees (i.e. 1362 - 1633 US $).

PC would be used for mostly Adobe Suit,(for Graphic Designing, Photo and Video Editing), Occasional gaming, 3D Modelling and stuff.

You should just wait until the 5000 series CPU goes on sale and buy a 5600X, spend the rest on your GPU.

Laptop :

Thinkpad X230 | i5 3320M | 8 GB DDR3 | V-Gen 128 GB SSD |

Wait for the 5000 series. If (no independent benchmarks are available) they truly have 20% single thread performance increase it should be superior.

But the thing is on Nov 5th, only the R7 & R9 will launch, I don't know when will the actually be available in my local market or online stores. And even if it does it might end up like RTX 3038.

You'd need to wait maybe a month max but in the long-term, you spend much less money. If you NEED it immediately for work and can't afford any downtime then go ahead. Otherwise, you just want that sweet sweet dopamine hit, just pause for a second and think again before spending a grand and some on something.
