is there a  boot menu I can put on a usb drive instead of mashing down the f8 every time I want to boot into linux

 

 

I dont wanna fck with the mbr as I always f something up

Yes, you can install GRUB onto your USB drive and set your USB drive to be the default boot device.

 

However, I'm sure there's a far better solution if you were to elaborate as to what exactly the problem is.

Ive been wondering for a while if there is a way to have multiple flash drives stuff on one so I can just have one big on that can boot to numerous different things. Say memtest, seatools, sand samsung secure erase.

Why do that, really? You can add more options to your current grub install. And if you use grub2, submenus.

so that I can one or two flash drives with all my things that I need to boot to on instead of like 12 of them? Any idea how you would do this I havnt looked into it myself yet as I didnt even know it was possible.
