Whats so special? A more efficient 10nm node with a higher ipc compared to their 14nm counterparts + 4.7ghz boostclock and probably a little margin of error this is about accurate.

i dunno about that, sure the newer chips and better IPC will account for some, but beating a chip with 6 more cores?

It's a single core test so core count does not matter at all.
