New planings first time

Go to solution Solved by Ghost,

1)Do you want a bay or tube reservoir -->bay reservoir

2)Radiator? --> thought of this one http://www.frozencpu.com

3) gpu waterblock --> http://www.frozencpu.com

4) cpu waterblock --> http://www.frozencpu.com

5) tubing -->  ?

6)fittings --> ?

I dont know if my choices are good so i am open to any suggestions

  1. Well you have a choice of the XSPC reservoirs, who provide the greatest variety of pump/res bay combos, or if you want a more premium choice, look at Monsoon's Series II res.
  2. A great choice (has copper fins), just make sure it fits in your case.
  3. Use coolingconfigurator.com to make sure it fits your card, if so, a great choice.
  4. Nothing wrong with this choice.
  5. Primochill Advanced LRT if your best bet.
  6. Have a look at Monsoon's and Bitpower's offerings for higher end fittings. Look at EK fittings for a more affordable solution. All of these will perform equally, the difference is in price. Also, consider angled fittings for your loop. This adds cost but can help with tight runs/aesthetics.

Need waterblock for cpu and gpu (i7 4770k) (evga gtx 780ti) ,a reservoir ,a pump ,compression fittings, and a good tube...The budget is about 700-800 usd plus a case that i need to fit the stuff in...As for the case i just need a windowed one.... For the watercooling i dont know much about brands i  read the 101 threards Q&A and know everything that a common user that starts watercooling would ask . I like the looks and will have fun building it. This are my major reasons just suggest me some quality ones cause i dont know much about brands so can you suggest me something beetwen that budget (with a case in the budget too) thanks :)

Would you be willing to go with some AIOs? I think it would be better if you do if this will be your first time and that way you'd be able to get some experience without many dramas :P. Look into some Corsair AIOs, also Swiftech and Thermaltake.

Edit: Also where do you live? It'd be nice to know so then someone might be able to make up a list on PCPP, or I will tomorrow.

CPU: Intel i7 8700K | CPU Cooler: be quiet! Dark Rock Pro 3 | RAM: Kingston HyperX 2x8GB | Motherboard: Asus ROG Z370-E | GPU: MSI GTX 970 | HDD: Seagate Barracuda 1TB & 2TB | SSD: Samsung 840 EVO 250GB & 970 EVO M.2 500GB | Case: Phanteks Enthoo Evolv X | PSU: Silverstone Platinum Strider 1100W | Monitor: AOC i2367Fh | Headphones: ATH-M40X | Mic: Antlion ModMic 4 | Keyboard: Corsair K70 RGB w/ MX Browns | Mouse: Logitech G502 HERO

Yeah AIOs dont appeal to me ..I had built computers with AIO water coolers but mehhh..I know its not worth giving that much money for a custom loop and i dont want it for pure perfomance or anything like that ..I want it for the sexy looks the ''quiter'' operation...I live in the US if it helps if you can make a list on any site like pcpp then np go on  :)

Have a look at the "Basic CPU Plan" in the watercooling FAQ (section 2.8) and expand from there. There is huge variety of parts that are all equally as good as each other that a choice of parts tends to be a more "personal choice".

To get you started, some basic preference questions would be "Do you want a bay or tube reservoir?", "Would you like a pump/res combo unit?" and "What style of water block do you prefer? XSPC Razor, Watercool heatkiller, EK CSQ, EK Clean, etc."

Feel free to PM for any water-cooling questions. Check out my profile for more ways to contact me.

K, so if you want to build a custom water loop than me making a list on PCPP won't help. Definitely look at XSPC, EKWB is quite good though. Also what about some fans? If you needs some I may suggest the SP120s from Corsair, they have a performance and quite edition. Also from Corsair is the 750D, a lot of people would agree with me that this is very good case and might suite well for you and will give you lots of space if you decide to add more rads.

I like what you've got already but just remember with the rads if you want to have the tubes coming from opposite ends, if you think it might work out better that way than I think you should look into that.

Yes, the gentle typhoons are pretty good from what I've heard, haven't done any research into them though. I'd say you just go with some Corsair SP120s and a 750D or something of the sort, along with all of the other parts for the custom loop too.
