Electrostatic!

Hey, I just finished building a new PC. But whenever I touch the USB port for example or the audio jacks I get a zatch.

 

Any solutions?

If your PC is properly grounded static should be impossible. And it should be grounded through your PSU.

 

So perhaps your PSU isn't grounding properly, maybe not being in contact with your case at all.

Are those the once in the front or in the back? If they are in the front maybe the wires are broken or touching something?

Well could be that OP is being statically charged, and what he is experiencing when touching the ports is him discharging through the ground that is the computer.

Seems that both the computer wasnt grounded and I was staticlly charged.
