do you guys think that a gtx 480 is worth around 29 bucks?

found a gtx 480 Inno3D founders edition which looks brand new for 29 bucks

im looking for a new gpu for my brothers pc since the gtx 650 that he has is really trash and evey other card is pretty much better then it :/

he has an i5 3550 which can overclock stable up to 4.1GHZ so it will help with the bottle neck - if there will be any, and a CM GX 550W PSU - not the best but will hold some strong cards

almost got a 1060 6GB for 60 bucks which is pretty much for free here but after thinking about it the homie preferred selling his pc as a pc and not in parts.... SMH

make sure you mind the power and thermal headache. it's a hot, power hungry card.

If you can find a GTX 750 TI for a similar price, I'd recommend that instead. Mine has been very useful for low end gaming.

I WILL find your ITX build thread, and I WILL recommend the SIlverstone Sugo SG13B

Primary PC:

i7 8086k - EVGA Z370 Classified K - G.Skill Trident Z RGB - WD SN750 - Jedi Order Titan Xp - Hyper 212 Black (with RGB Riing flair) - EVGA G3 650W - dual booting Windows 11 and Fedora Linux - Black and green theme, Razer brainwashed me.

Draws 400 watts under max load, for reference.

PSU tier list

How many watts do I need?

PSU misconceptions, protections explainedgroup reg is bad

yeah i know that

if ill buy that card im going to open it and put some new thermal paste on it and his psu will handle this card just fine

the second hand market in my country is kinda bad

1080 TIs going for around 600 700 dollars

and older cards from the 900 series for around 300 bucks

im also looking for cards in my city and the area around it since i dont want to go for a trip just for a gpu

last 700 series card that i saw for sale on the second hand market was more then 6 monthes ago...

i also found a good FE 980 and 780 FE but couldn't get them so F for me...

then as long as the PSU can handle it, it's a big upgrade.
