The monitor is usually in sleep mode for at least 2 hours or more before i wake up my monitors. I use a display port connection. I have used a different display port on video card. i have used a display port cable. i have used another monitor and woke it up after 2 hours and no issues like i had in the picture. i have  MSI GTX 1080 video card.
