PSU failed OCCT test

So since my last issue with my PC, someone suggested to run OCCT on my computer and see how it goes. the reason why i do this test is because occasionally my PC will be hit by 3 issues: sudden unexplained restarts (nothing on event viewer), nvlddmkm and hard hang. initially i thought this is due to the GPU, but someone told me to test it out first before i replace it.

 

Upon testing, most of the components are okay except for the power test. Tried both times, lasted for less than 5 minutes for both tries. after i realised that PSU could be the culprit, i searched it up, and apparently it is quite possible that faulty PSU can cause all these issues as well. also the issues usually happens when the PC is idle, only once it happened when i was playing a game. Does this mean I should get a new PSU? If yes, what are some good recommendation?

 

Currently my system is as follows:

CPU: Ryzen 5 3600

GPU: ASUS Dual GTX 1650

PSU: CoolerMaster 750W MWE

RAM: G. Skill Aegis 32GB

Update your bios, if that doesn't fix the issue. Return the PSU.

i have updated my bios in order to use OCCT actually. so i guess its time to get a new PSU then?

What motherboard? Could it be running 3600 with unstable voltages?

sorry for late reply. motherboard was MSI X470. Not sure if voltage is unstable though.

Any updates OP? Also out of interest, is your PSU a V1 (MPX) or V2 (MPE)?

no update, though its likely for me to buy a new PSU soon. considering leadex superflower or something.

 

my current psu is MWE... not sure what it has to do with V1 or V2, not currently anyways. gotta go check.
