moving APPDATA folder.

I am trying to move my appdata folder to my D drive and I just copied the contents of the appdata (C:) folder into my (D:) drive. I then ran the command

"mklink /d local d:\appdata\local"

I still see the space on my (C:) drive from the appdata folder as well as the greyed out appdata folder still there with all the original files there.

 

But I also see it on my D drive with all those files there.

 

Is it safe to delete appdata folder from my (C:) drive?

 

Did I do something wrong?

Why move the appdata? Also it you deleted it F then time to reinstall

I did lol, had to make a restore point. I only wanted to move it because it's about 20 gigs now and I am running out of space on my SSD with windows and a few select games left on there as well as a shit ton of aforementioned program data

Well windows needs that folder same with some apps
