hi, i have an old windows 7 laptop (Asus PRO5DIJ), and recently it got formatted by some guys from computer store, and they installed windows 64bit (this laptop has 2GB ram) and i can't play some old games now. And the question is, on bottom of the laptop there is sticker with windows 7 home basic key (i think cause its mostly ripped off) and if i install windows 7 32bit will this key work?

Wouldn't hurt to try, but I think it would work. Get the exact same version, either. If the key's Home Basic, get the ISO for Home Basic too.

Well im too late, but it will work just fine, i have done this a ton of times, and im at the point of collecting keys from dead laptops i find at the junkyard. Have both my main rigs running Win7 Pro upgraded to Win10 pro from laptops, and another 3 machines with home, all cam from laptops.
