I'm looking at 2 systems i could build. I don't mind if it is overkill i just want a system that is more than enough again and that will work for some years to come. I haven't build a pc in a few years anymore so i would like to hear what you guys think of these two builds. I'll post the specs of my old rig when i get to it, as i need to dust it off as it has been offline and stored for many years now.

amd is announcing the next gen of cpus today, I would definitely build a new high-end pc using the newest hardware available.

again, no point in paying full price on last gen parts. go for teh 3080.

the threadripper is not a gaming cpu and is generally slower for gaming than the ryzen series.
