CPU usage

I don't know a whole lot about computers and I need help. I tried doing something simple like streaming a movie on Discord and it was all choppy and some one asked me to check task manager so i did and it said CPU is at 100% i was told that is a problem.

What hardware are you using?

 

Full CPU usage can certainly be the reason for the stuttering.

Honestly I don't know what hardware I'm using the PC was giving to me and I never checked

Your CPU reached its limits and cant work fast enough for what you want.

Without knowing anything else about your PC. That would be my guess. 100% CPU Usage  means it cant provide any more juice.

@Praesi Alright so from what I read I have to look up my motherboard manufacture so I can see what CPU is compatible

Why dont you just give us your Specs.

Ok. Your CPU is too old, so is your Mainboard. You will have to replace both. And you need present RAM, which means DDR4 if you buy a todays Mainboard.

In short, you need a new System.
