PC won't boot

I got an old lenovo ideacenter from a friend and they said that it worked, but when I turn it on I get 2 beeps and no video output. When googling I found that 2 beeps for this pc means Parity error in base memory (first 64KB block). does anyone know what to do?

switch ram sticks?

I did that and checked using another pc that the ram i was using worked.
