Budget (including currency): $1,500-$2,000 USD

Country: United States

Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: AAA Titles, Fortnite, Rocket Leauge. FFXIV, etc. Streaming Gameplay on Twitch, and editing Let's Plays and live action videos for YouTube.

Other details (existing parts lists, whether any peripherals are needed, what you're upgrading from, when you're going to buy, what resolution and refresh rate you want to play at, etc): I currently have nothing, I plan to buy parts and start building in about a month, I will need peripherals for both the gaming as well as streaming tools, I'm a big boy, 340lbs, so I need advice on a good chair as well for the long hours. I want at least 1080p resolution, though I'd prefer 4k. I'm looking for a Dual Monitor set up, one for the gaming and another for using my stream manager and other things during stream. I would prefer a high refresh rate but I can compromise as long as it doesn't make things unplayable. I have some issues with cramps in my hand after any amount of time using a key board and mouse so a good suggestion for something that's gaming focused possibly but also could potentially alleviate some of that pain would be cool. I need suggestions for a  good mic and camera as well. I'm very very new to this entire thing when it comes to the actual software I should be using for mic and camera quality, streaming, and editing. Price can be compromised but I'm using that as a general jumping off point of what I would like it to be around so I can get started. Basically I've trying my best to research the different things I need but it would be great to have some first hand advice. I know I need a suggestions for a

Motherboard, CPU, GPU, HDD, SSD, Power Supply, Microphone, Camera, Gaming Monitor, Editing Monitor, Chair, Desk, and Stream Lighting, a Case, and Cooling System, I think those are all the things needed? Please let me know if there's anything I'm not thinking about, thank you

Is your budget for the build or it need to include all the peripherals such as chair table, keyboard, mouse and camera?

is there any mark you need to hit on games? such as are you planning to play on 60/144 hz monitor or above

Yes, 60/144 is the target, and table is not a top priority but the camera, keyboard, mouse and definitely chair are important. I'd say out of all peripherals I don't want to skimp on the chair, also sorry for not being entirely clear, $2,000 is my target for the build itself, peripherals could be another $1,000 I know that chairs are usually pretty pricey, especially if you want comfort, which I do

Hope it help some references for the rig. you can start from here maybe adjust with your budget

and you should wait for Ryzen Zen 3 New CPU so you could get a better CPU for roughly the same price

for storage you can save up some with lower capacity and go with spinning drive, or you could save here and there, and the 3080 FE around $700 this price may change if you get GPU from other brands

for your monitor, which feature set do you need the most or at least your top priority? refresh rate, response time, or color accuracy?

I would recommend you search for what suits your eyes the most.

for chair, I'd recommend you buy some good chair form IKEA or your local furniture shop cause you can try it. I've been using IKEA chair for 2 years now and it feels better then my old gaming chair.

Thank you very much for this, and as far as monitor goes, for the gaming one response time is probably most important since with my bad vision if I get lag it'll give me a tinge of a motion sickness feeling. For my editing monitor I think color accuracy is best right? Never really had to edit, at least not since my middle school video class in like 2007 lol

Maybe get an IPS panel, because newer IPS monitor have good refresh rate and response time but didnt leave out the color accuracy

maybe getting a good 27" with 1440p is a good starting point rather than 2 mediocre 1080p monitor for me.

so down the line you can get another panel with better specs or better price

its your option
