So because I dont speak smart I was wondering if someone that does could help me, I have an ROG Strix b450-F Gaming with 3 Sata ports already in use, and one m.2 in use. I now know that putting an m.2 drive in disables 2 of those Sata ports. But heres my question, if I put another m.2 into the other slot would that then disable another 2 sata ports or what. Ive already looked at the manuals and other forum thread I just dont understand the smork language those people are speaking

np lol, just make sure one of the m.2's you are using runs in pci, if trying to use 2 m.2's that both use sata, it won't work.

Woulc you be able to look at this parts list just to check the WD 500gb is the one im planning on getting. Many thanks man.

yea, those drive's should be fine together. the wd 500gb needs to be in slot 1 though, while the xpg can work in either slot, but with the wd in slot 1, obviously you will want to install it in slot 2.

Pretty sure I already know the answer to this but would the XPG be effected because the XPG is the windows Drive

not sure what you mean? if you have it in slot 1, and need to move it to slot 2, that should be fine. might need to change the boot order in bios(maybe), but otherwise, afaik it won't mess with your windows install.
