So I'm on around a $1000 budget and I wanted to make a white pc so this is what i came up with and was wondering if all of this would work. Also I can't figure out what power supply i need due to the extra  4-pin ATX power connector on the mother board. Thanks!

Could stay within your budget and bump the gpu to a 5700xt unless there’s some reason you need an Nvidia card.

as for the cpu power it is a bit weird since the positions are reversed from normal.  If they weren’t reversed I would say fill the 8 and ignore the 4 unless you want to do competitive overclocking.
with them reversed it could be what I just said OR it’s fill the 4 and ignore the 8 likely the first one though and they just put the ports on reversed for whatever reason.

Not a pro, not even very good.  I’m just old and have time currently.  Assuming I know a lot about computers can be a mistake.

So mostly fear of the unknown.  It’s a reason I guess. At any rate you are informed of what is possible.

I’m not very up on wifi.  It seems to have at least most of the important features.  How good they actually are and whether it is price competitive I just don’t know.   It’s also a Bluetooth card btw. One thing That may be useful is see if your motherboard has a nvme E key port.  (I can’t tell one way or the other) They frequently point straight up, and take only very short cards, rather than sit across the board like 2880 M key ones do   They are single pcie lane rather than 4 pcie lane and are generally for wifi only.  If you’ve got one of those you can add a wifi card to it without messing with pcie.

The card supports Wifi 6 and Bluetooth 5 since the bluetooth part plugs into the mother board or you can remove the wire and just use wifi

The board has a 1 M.2 Key E for WiFi

Wifi6 is a marketing term though.  It can mean a bunch of different things.

In this case it might be cheaper to get an e key card for that. Save a pcie slot. The issue with pcie slots is using them can mess with pcie lane divisions.  B550 is a bit weird in that the top slot is pre divided and is always pcie4x16 whereas the rest are pcie3.  I don’t know how they divide up though.  It’s possible using that e key slot may eat a sata port instead, so it becomes a question of what you are more willing to lose.

What adding an e key card will do is effectively turn your no wifi board into a wifi board, except that you can upgrade your wifi later if you want to.  E key cards will have tiny connectors in the corners for adding antenna wires.  There may even be antenna wires on your mobo if there is a wifi version.  The e key card may also come with antenna wires in which case you would need to cable manage them.
