No audio device detected

Hi. In windows on the speaker icon it shows a red X I’ve done everything I could think. Checked drivers. Made sure I didn’t have intel sst. Checked bios. And gone back to a restore point when I knew audio was working. It doesn’t work through hdmi or onboard audio. I used driver easy to just make sure it wasn’t a driver and it showed the Realtek audio device but showed it was unplugged. I ran the update and installed. Still no audio and it shows it is unplugged currently in my case looking to make sure nothing came unplugged. Please help. Haven’t had audio for about 4 months. I’d already made a post but no one replied.
